The obvious thing is that when you think of Achaval Ferrer their limited production, single vineyard Malbec comes to mind, as they are without a doubt some of the finest wines being produced in the world. There’s exceptional fruit purity and concentration but a backbone of structure that keeps this tightly coiled and made for some solid mid term aging potential. This will only get better with a few years under its belt. As with all Achaval Ferrer wines this is top shelf quality.
The palate on this blend of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cab Franc is ripe and concentrated, with pure black cherry and roasted berry aromas. The wine runs long and comfortable, with fine balance and good tannins.

Brilliant with very dark red hues, this wine is intense and sophisticated
to the nose, with black fruits, clove, nutmeg and pepper. It is powerful,
yet velvety in the mouth. Wood and toast flavors are very well
integrated with the wine, providing vanilla and toasted bread notes.

This Cabernet Sauvignon shows an intense red color. Ripe, red fruit aromas can be found together with the complexity provided by mint and cassis notes. In the mouth, it has great body and an interesting tannic structure. Its balance and concentration provide a lingering finish.

This fresh, attractive and vigorous Sauvignon Blanc shows intense aromas of yellow grapefruit, lime and passion fruit that are well integrated with gooseberry and herbal notes. On the palate, this is a wine with great freshness and very long aftertaste.
