The hint of residual sugar is perfectly balanced with sufficient acidity to display a nice long tropical fruit finish. This is not the typical sweet-style California Riesling. We prefer an off-dry style with enough acidity for a lively mouth-feel.
Combining the tropical, melon aromas of warm weather Sauvignon Blanc with the racy, citrus flavors found when grown in cooler climates, this wine is bright, aromatic, and remarkably refreshing.
In 2006 Mother Nature provided us with an Indian Summer, long and warm without much rain. This provided the perfect conditions for our sugar and acidity to be in sync. As the acidity in our fruit slowly declined the sugar content slowly rose - the ideal conditions every winemaker can only wish for. The vines were extra stressed and this paid off with longer hang-time, more concentrated fruit and beautiful tannins.
The nose has an intensely perfumed fresh bouquet of pink grapefruit and lemon cream combined with energetic spice notes underlined by invigorating minerality. Emulating the nose, the palate of crisp citrus and melon flavor carries a hint of dry white herb accompanied by a soft, round mouth feel resulting in a medium bodied, fresh, food-friendly wine.
A Matanzas Creek classic, our Chardonnay is sourced from cool climate vineyards in Bennett Valley and Carneros. A touch of the grapes experienced botrytis, also referred to as noble rot which imparts notes of honeysuckle flower and white peach. With notes of lemon creme and pear the Sonoma Valley Chardonnay is the perfect accompaniment to grilled lobster, gouda and asiago cheese, or cedar planked salmon.

Each geographic partner in our Ménage à Trois Chardonnay contributes a distinctive quality: fresh citrus aromas from Monterey; lush tropical fruit flavors from Santa Barbara; and fine structure from Mendocino. We’d like to say it’s a Ménage made in heaven, but to be truthful, it was made in Napa Valley.
Our Moscato blends wines from three different growing areas, each crafted by a different winemaker. Lovely floral aromas and luscious peach/apricot flavors make it the perfect Mènage à Trois!
This wine is remarkably complex due to its unique makeup. Rich, red ripe and relaxed, this Ménage à Trois Red is expected to age well in the bottle for several years. But why wait? The wine is ready, willing, and accessible now!
Good rosé is like a carnival in your mouth. And not one of your low rent carnivals. We’re talking about your really classy, county faire kind of carnival. Our Ménage à Trois is the epitome of good rosé. No pretension, no pretense, just a fruit-laden roller coaster ride of raspberries, strawberries, lychee nuts and flowers.
Meridian Cabernet Sauvignon is decisive and knows exactly where it stands. There’s no minc
