Our bourbon starts with the native Kentucky corn and rye, which are distilled and aged for four to six years in American white oak barrels. Because we want to create a genuinely unique spirit, we age it for three to six additional months in hand-selected port casks to create an exceptionally smooth and nuanced bourbon. The whiskey in this bottle has been dumped from one barrel only. Therefore, unlike ordinary Bourbons, its taste cannot be altered or balanced by blending. Instead, every barrel must be closely monitored by our Master Distiller until the Bourbon inside has aged to peak perfection. Then, and not a moment before, is it ready for bottling.
