Pernod Ricard USA and Absolut vodka’s agency of record TBWA have teamed up with photographer and director Danny Clinch to create NY-Z, a 14-minute documentary about New York musician and businessman Jay-Z. NY-Z, which is shot in black and white, provides viewers with a brief biography of the artist and details his experience with New York City. It also captures the events leading up to and following his September 11, 2009 benefit performance at Madison Square Garden for the New York Fire and Police Widow and Children’s Benefit Fund. That particular concert also marked the launch of the Absolut Concert Series that was held at Madison Square Garden. NY-Z is viewable free of charge for fans of Absolut’s page on Facebook.com.
