Manzanilla is the palest of the finos: fresh, incredibly light, and somewhat tart. Sea breezes add a distinctive tang to the wine. Great wine for before dinner. Apple, straw and lemon notes, with a chalky texture and long, lanolin aftertaste. Has character and flavor. "Elegant yet persistent, this outstanding Sherry combines a broad structure with subtle and lingering mineral, flint, petrol and vanilla flavors. Quality this high at a price this low is increasingly rare, enjoy." -Wine Spectator
