DESCRIPTION

Taylor, excellent for Cooking Sherry is an excellent wine, with a light nutty aroma, pale color, and smooth finish.

Varietal

Sherry is a fortified Spanish wine that is produced in Spain's "Sherry Triangle"; i.e., the towns of Puerto de Santa María, Jerez and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.   The wine ranges from very dry to sweet and from amber to brown.  It is produced primarily from the Palomino and Pedro Ximénez grapes. 

The two predominant types of Sherry are Fino and Oloroso.  Fino is a very dry, light-bodied sherry.  Oloroso is still dry but dark in color and rich in flavor.  Read More...
