Dark violet with ruby reflects. A mineral and herbal touch blended with tobacco and flowers remind the Upper Maipo origin of this wine. Black fruits and dried figs in the nose. In the mouth feels concentrated with soft and juicy tannins combined with fresh fruits and lots of freshness in the mouth. Fifty percent of the grapes were cold macerated for 5 days. Then the alcoholic fermentation undergoes in stainless steel tanks at 30-32°C. 100% of the wine was aged for 9 months in French oak barrels.
Carmenere is a red grape that was best known for its use as a blending wine in France. In recent times Chile has adopted Carmenere as a grape which grows very well in their environment, and have become the biggest source of single-variety Carmenere wine on the market.
