DESCRIPTION

Dark garnet in color with aromas of berry and dark cherry. On the palate, dark cherry, spice, and bittersweet chocolate. Pairs well with grilled lamb, olives, and rich cheeses.

Varietal

Tempranillo is a variety of Spanish black grape grown to make full-bodied ruby red wines.  The Tempranillo grape is usually used in blends; you may have difficulty locating a standalone varietal.  The most popular blends are Grenache and Rioja.
