DESCRIPTION

This red wine shows typically bright, fresh fruit characters with good aromatic lift. The blend of varieties work well together: the rich, plummy texture of Shiraz with its typically spicy aroma and taste, complementing the fresh berry fruit character of the Cabernet Sauvignon. The color is a vibrant, deep, plummy red with a youthful purple rim. The highly appealing aroma has lifted spice and black cherry characters, with the juicy, ripe berry characteristics of Shiraz particularly noticeable. On the palate the wine is rich in fresh, lively fruit flavors of blackberry and dark plums. There are moderate and well rounded tannins on the finish, which are set nicely against the spice flavors of Shiraz, with the Cabernet Sauvignon's bramble and blackcurrant flavors filling the finish.
