This fruit-forward, ruby colored Cabernet displays a bouquet of cherries, a bit of black olive and a hint of spice. The wine is soft and balanced with flavors of cherries and toast. Merlot is blended into the wine to add complexity and a supple texture. Eastern Washington’s prime vineyards lie at the same northerly latitude as France’s renowned wine regions, providing more hours of grape maturing sunlight during the growing season than in southern vineyards. Two coastal mountain ranges provide ample protection from western Washington’s cool weather, yielding over 300 days of sunshine and less than ten inches of rain per year.
