Prosecco is a dry sparkling affordable wine made from the Prosecco variety of white grape. The grapes are primarily grown in the Veneto, Baldobbiadene and Conegliano regions of Italy. They are used to make two types of sparkling wine: Spumante (sparkling) or Frizzante (semi-sparkling).
