Moscato has a straw yellow color with elegant golden highlights. A gentle frizzante style wine, fresh and crisp, with a floral bouquet and fruity finish. Excellent on its own at any time of the day but its true characteristics are particularly enhanced when served with fresh fruit or with dry or creamy desserts.
The Moscato white variety is known by many names, from Muscadel to Muscat to Moscato to Moscatel. The family of grapes of the species Vitis vinifera is widely grown for wine, raisins and table grapes with many clone varieties, making both red and white wines.
Their color ranges from white to near black. Moscato almost always has a pronounced sweet floral aroma. Light-bodied with low acidity and low tannins.
