Fresh and bright with citrus aromas and flavors of juicy white peach, green apple and bright grapefruit.

Varietal

Sauvignon Blanc is a classic white-wine variety popular in the Bordeaux and eastern Loire regions of France.

New Zealand's climate has been conducive to the growth of this varietal, resulting in a perfumed, fruity style that has reached North America as well as France.  Fumé Blanc is just another name for Sauvignon Blanc. 

You can expect the flavors of herbs and grassy and apple flavors, plus olive and a soft, smoky flavor. These wines can range from sweet to dry, but are typically very light, crisp and acidic.  Read More...
