Known as "The Monarch". This rare and special whiskey is named after the famous painting, "The Monarch of the Glen". In 1851, Sir Edwin Landseer created the famous painting, an instant masterpiece, that depicts a stag in the Scottish Highlands. John Dewar and Sons purchased the painting in 1919 and hung it proudly. Master blender Stephanie Macleod used the painting as inspiration for this rare and special whiskey. A blend of very rare vintage single malt and single grain scotch whiskies. The blend is then married in oak casks for a light, velvety finish.

The color of this Cardhu 12 years old is golden honey and the nose is robust and has an interesting combination of aromas. At full strength, heady, nose prickle, pear drops and tightly integrated heather, resin and sweet honey-nut notes. Enticing. Intriguing. With a little water, still harmonious but less pronounced, allowing some malt-cereal, soft, spicy wood, moorland and faint traces of wood-smoke to appear. Palate is well balanced, smooth mouthfeel; short punch, sweet and fresh, then a pronounced drying effect. Enjoyable at any time, with little or no water.
A fully natural color with no caramel added, it is sparkling gold with layers of color arising from different maturations and oils mixing together. The nose is peat first, then ripe red fruits from the PX and Oloroso casks. A hint of dryness next from the American oak with a long lingering florally finish - Marzipan and even limes at the end. This full bodied whisky is initially sweet up front- matching the nose, then the classic dry, peaty, ashy flavours come bounding in followed by a lovely rich finish arising from the rich fruits of the European casks.
We mature Laphroaig in seasoned oak barrels, charred before filling to impart a slight sweet vanilla nuttiness. Original Cask Strength Laphroaig is barrier-filtered only just, to remove the small char particles present. This means you will enjoy Laphroaig exactly as we made it. In extremes of temperature and when you add water it may appear a little cloudy - this is the natural condition of a malt of such a peaty pungence and uncompromising purity.
Up to thirty-five individual whiskies are used in the creation of Swing, each carefully selected by the Master Blender. The blend contains a high proportion of malts from Speyside, where the single malts are noted for their elegance and complexity. Complementing them are malts from the northern Highlands and Islay, adding richness, spice and weight. Some have been matured in sherry casks over several years to gain richness, while others are lighter and aromatic. The result: a luxurious flavor that's light in the foreground, with sweet mouth-watering depth developing on the palate.

In 2009, Jim Murrays Whisky Bible named Ardbeg Uigeadail World Whisky of the Year in praise of its utter silky brilliance and complexity on a level only a handful of distilleries in the world can even dream of reaching. Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced Oog-a-dal) is a special vatting that marries Ardbegs traditional deep, smoky notes with luscious, raisiny tones of old ex-Sherry casks. It's non chill-filtered at high strength, which retains maximum flavor and gives more body and added depth.
Rich, smooth and satisfying, Chivas Regal 12 delights the taste buds with its melody of fruity and floral flavors, fused from some of Scotlands finest single whiskies. Round and creamy on the palate, full rich taste of honey and ripe apples, with vanilla, hazelnut and butterscotch notes.
A complex and bold Mortlach with the exquisite balance of sweetness and dryness for which the distillery is renowned. A superbly structured and well balanced whisky in which stylish fruit and floral notes on the nose introduce a rich, complex, energetic palate and a pleasantly drying finish.
The colour is amber, and the nose detects balanced hints of smoky barley and citrus fruits. The taste is less aggressive as the 16 years old version. The peaty and smoky hints are present, and the finish is very smoky and peaty
