This fine Kentucky rye whiskey is the first to carry the Van Winkle name in over 60 years. Twelve years of aging in charred oak through the variable Kentucky seasons have given this rye whiskey a strikingly brown/deep bronze color and a slightly distinctive spicy finish. Anyone looking for a more mature rye whisky will covet this bottling.
Mildly woody with a sweet and surprising spice. A spicy nose with hints of chocolate and vanilla.
