They are aged in oak casks for up to 6 years before being bottled, at which point they are ready to drink and being lightly filtered require no decanting.Cockburns LBV is an intense assertive wine with bags of character. It is youthful and impulsive in style, deep red in colour and with aromas of damson, mulberry, summer fruits and chocolate. The finish is long and attractive.
