The wine is bright, clear pink in color with shades of yellow and orange. The sparkle is delicate but lively, with light, elegant bubbles. There are forest- and fresh-fruit aromas of strawberry, redcurrant and grapefruit on the nose. These are offset by caramel and vanilla accents reminiscent of G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge. In the mouth, the wine has exceptional length due to its Pinot Noir content. The fruit and caramel notes give it a pleasingly fresh and rounded taste.
At first sight, a subtle yellow gold color highlighting a reserved finesse. On the nose: there are notes of citrus, plum, liquid honey and brioche. On the palate: fresh summer fruits, surprising red grapefruit along with candied peel, roast chestnut and caramelized apple tart.
Creamy, with caramel tones in the flavor spectrum, along with apricot, grapefruit and a touch of mineral. The mousse is assertive, helped along by a chalky feel on the finish.
A beautiful shade of yellow, with touches of pink and gold. The bubbles are fine and very effervescent. On the nose the Veuve Clicquot Demi Sec is soft and pleasingly mature, reminiscent of crystallized fruit and patisserie. The nose is well balanced with wonderful depth. On the palate the wine is remarkably full, rounded and mature with intense fruit, suggesting ripe fruit or fruit tarts. The additional fullness brought by the extra sweetness is nicely balanced by the fresh finish. As this wine is more rounded than the traditional Brut Carte Jaune, it goes well with a variety of dishes: fish in particular and even some desserts that are not over sweet. Needless to say it is a delicious wine to drink on its own at any time of the day or night.
The wine has a luminous color with radiant rose accents. The nose is elegant and generous, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry and blackberry) leading to dried fruits and biscuit notes (almonds, apricots and brioche). On the palate, the fresh firstimpression is followed by a fruity harmonious sensation. A wonderful combination of serenity and generosity. Notes of black currant and coffee lead to a vigorous, slightly aniseed and deliciously astringent finish. From an extraordinary year and an incomparable fruit, Moet & Chandon has created an ambitious, confident champagne. A wine that happily asserts its elegant structure, its spectacular solidity, and its sunny personality.
The Grand Vintage is an extraordinary wine, offering from the very first encounter, all round pleasure that is completely seductive. This vintage is splendidly free, tremendously assertive, distinguished yet delightfully spirited and mischievous.
The wine has a luminous, brilliant gold color. The fine bubbles rise delicately, forming a chain of little beads before gently disappearing. The initial bouquet is elegant, opening on to aromas of crunchy fresh fruit (bush peach), citrus fruit and a mineral touch that comes from our chalky soils. The notes of violet and lilac are reminiscent of spring fragrances, and later on, notes of a more "bready" style, (hazelnut, crystallised quince, fresh butter) gradually take over. On the palate the opening is clean-cut. The Vintage has a generous freshness; the Pinot Noir intensifies its role, lending body to a tense, very lively wine.
La Grande Dame Rose has a brilliant and limpid robe, situated between copper and salmon. The first nose is already very expressive, with fruity (strawberry, pink grapefruit, quince) and spicy notes (pepper, cinnamon) at the forefront against a refined mineral background. When the wine is rotated, more gourmet aromas of fruit appear (griotte cherry and blackberry jam), interwoven with the flavor of brioche.
As you taste it, notes of toasted bread, hazelnut, nougat, barley sugar and jellied fruits may take you by surprise. You may even taste hints of apples still on the tree, flowers in bloom, ripe and dried fruit, almonds, marzipan, gingerbread, sweet spices and even brioche and honey. You may also notice its exceptional freshness in the mouth, with rich and tangy flavours of lemon and grapefruit enhanced by the subtlety of its fine and elegant bubbles. Krug Grande Cuvée can age beautifully.
La Grande Dame has a pale gold color with jade glints. The wine is crystal clear, with unbelievably fine bubbles. On the first nose, typical Chardonnay characteristics come to the fore, with the arrival of floral and mineral aromas (acacia, ferns, chalk).
