Our Cupcake Barossa Valley Shiraz has a dark and inky garnet color with a nose of plums and blackberry jam. Black fruit mix with creamy chocolate on the palate and just a touch of black pepper that lingers after a long dry finish. Its reminiscent of a chocolate mocha and blackberry cupcake.
The Shiraz is a dense magenta color, with notes of chocolate and berries on the palate.
We experimented with different blends until the perfect one was created - a juicy, fruit-forward Shiraz with a bit of floral spice, courtesy of a splash of Viognier.Aromas of raspberry jam, leather and pepper, mingle with a bit of floral spice on the nose. Spicy floral notes carry through the fruit-packed, medium-bodied palate, finishing with a touch of honey.
This Shiraz features New World-style ripe and jammy fruit aromas. Flavors of black cherry and white pepper are pronounced on the palate with hints of boysenberry and raspberry. The lingering finish is pleasingly supple. Ray Einberger, Winemaker
An excellent example of the modern style Shiraz that exhibits generous body and flavor. The bouquet gives plenty of plum and dark berry fruit characters with a hint of oak and varietal spice. The rich, soft palate is complexed by soft tannins and a fine oak character. The complex varietal character and soft oak tannin, distinguishes this wine and ensures it is extremely approachable in its youth.
Watch out this wine jumps out of your glass! Ripe blackberries and blueberries with spicy black pepper on the nose. Pair with Barbecued baby back ribs with macaroni salad or Jerk chicken with brown rice and black beans. An excellent wine to enjoy with or without food!
This Shiraz is a medium bodied wine with generous aromas of pepper, licorice and plum, leaving a soft textured finish on the palate. At our place this wine is enjoyed with great gusto alongside beef, lamb, chicken and amongst friends.

On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with intense blackberry and dark cherry flavors, plus soft tannins. Fruit for this luscious Shiraz was harvested from premium districts in Southeastern Australia, notably McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley. Aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
This premium, full bodied wine is an outstanding example of South Australian Shiraz, displaying an intensity of ripe plum with pepper spice, balanced by soft grape and oak tannins, leading to a lingering smooth finish. An ideal accompaniment to most red meats, game and cheeses. A wine that will develop further with cellaring.
This is the most finely-structured and elegant of our three vintages of Hickinbotham Vineyard Shiraz. It's another step in ourdetermined effort to get the best from this distinguished upland site. Each of our three Shiraz vintages is a little further from the traditional high-alcohol, full-bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz from the lower, warmer country in the south of the region.
Double Barrel Shiraz has a full and generous palate with a beguiling mix of sweet red fruits and dark chocolate indicative of its origins as Barossa Shiraz; Subtle toasty vanillin derives from aging in traditional French and American oak wine barrels.
