Amaretto Spice
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Santa Marta Amaretto Liqueur
- 1 oz Widow Jane Applewood Rye
- 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
- .5 oz Spiced simple syrup
- Dash of Angostura Bitters
Preparation
- Make the spiced simple syrup by taking 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water with 2 cinnamon sticks, 10-15 cloves, 2 star anise, a pinch of pink peppercorns. Bring to a boil, allow to cool
- Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker
- Shake and strain into a coupe glass
- Garnish with cinnamon stick and star anise
