This is an expressive 100% Tempranillo crafted from estate-grown grapes in Rioja Alta, a historic region renowned for exceptional quality wines. Family-owned for generations since Juan Leza Arenzana began winemaking in the early 20th century, the bodega combines tradition and expertise to produce this elegant Rioja. Carefully selected grapes are aged 12 months in a mix of American and French oak barrels, followed by at least 6 months in bottle, creating a deep ruby wine with aromas of black cherry, black currant, and dark chocolate. On the palate, full-bodied richness and opulent tannins reveal flavors of Mission fig, milk chocolate, purple plum, butterscotch, and lavender, finishing with satisfying depth.
