Ingredients

  • 2 Parts Redbreast Kentucky Oak Edition
  • 8 mint leaves
  • One Part simple syrup
  • 1 mint sprig & Angostura bitters (for garnish)

 

Preparation

  1. Take a julep cup or rocks glass and gently muddle the mint leaves in the simple syrup
  2. Pour in the Redbreast, then fill the glass with crushed ice, packing it in firmly
  3. Stir until the outside of the cup becomes frosted
  4. Add more crushed ice on top to create a little ice mound
  5. Finish by garnishing with a sprig of mint and, if desired, a few drops of bitters
