Yellowstone Limited Edition 2026 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a study in contrast turned into harmony — a blend of 7- and 14-year bourbons finished in both tawny and ruby port casks, each pulling the spirit in its own direction until they resolve into one seamless pour. The nose opens with bright fruit and warm port sweetness, while the palate unfolds through dark cherry, vanilla, and toasted oak before settling into a long, smooth finish. Master distiller Stephen Beam, a seventh-generation member of the Beam family, drew inspiration from the interplay of shadow and light in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone — a fitting metaphor for a whiskey built on tension and balance in equal measure. Yellowstone the brand dates back to 1872, but its modern era began in 2010 when Beam and his brother Paul returned it to family ownership through Limestone Branch Distillery; in the years since, Stephen has tinkered through nearly every finish and mashbill the distillery's cellars allow, and the 2026 release stands as his most fully realized expression yet.
