Redbreast Pure Pot Still Irish Whiskey Aged 21 Years

Description

Following distillation, the whiskey is matured in a combination of American oak casks that were previously used to mature bourbon and European oak casks that were previously used to mature Spanish Oloroso sherry. After a 21-year slumber, the whisky is bottled without the use of chill filtration. As a result, the whisky a rich and oily aroma, with touches of berries, fresh mint and citrus. The aroma gives way to bold and vibrant notes of oak, spices, caramelized apples and raisins and finishes with a touch sherry.
