Código 1530 Mezcal Artesanal Joven is an ensamble made from Maguey Espadin and Maguey Tobala in San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca. The agaves in cooked in a stone oven, crushed by tahona, and distilled in copper pots. The spirit is rested in Sauvignon Blanc wine barrels. Tasting notes showcase vanilla, citrus, dark cherry, earth, stone, clay, and smoke.
