J.P. Wiser's Canadian Whisky 42 Year

Description

This is the first expression of the Decades Series in the United States. Distilled in 1982 and matured in a combination of Speyside Single Malt Casks, Canadian Oak barrels, and ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof). Aromas of green apple, crème brulee, vintage oak, orange tea, sourdough, and dried red fruits. It features a full-bodied palate with notes of dark cherry, English toffee, oakwood, roasted nuts, marble rye, nutmeg, and subtle leather. It ends with a warm, spicy finish.
