Minden Mill American Single Malt Whiskey is a refined estate-produced spirit crafted in Nevada’s Carson Valley, showcasing the character of its high-desert terroir. Made entirely from 100% estate-grown barley malted on-site and distilled using hand-hammered Forsyth copper stills with a thermal oil-heating system, it reflects a precise and modern approach to traditional single malt production. Matured for five years in a combination of Oloroso sherry, ex-bourbon, and American oak casks, it develops a rich and layered profile shaped by both spirit and environment. The nose reveals fig, caramel, honeycomb, and light tobacco leaf, leading into a palate of dried cherry, sweet malt, fruit compote, and honey, with a smooth finish of cherry tobacco and warming nutmeg spice.
