Description

Mamertino is a delicious white wine with a slight natural sweetness and a touch of effervescence, a harmonious balance which makes it perfect for sipping and complements a wide variety of foods and desserts. History records that when Julius Caesar was elected Counsel of Rome, he commissioned a special wine to be made in honor of the occasion, and called this wine Mamertino. The grapes used in making Mamertino are Trebbiano and Biancale, when pressed together produce a natural sparkle. Mamertino is imported exclusively by Lo Duca Bros. to the United States. Serve chilled.
