Nero d’Avola is the most important indigenous grape and most widely planted red wine grape in Sicily. Its name means “the black grape of Avola”. This wine is fruit-forward with of notes of dark berries, plum, licorice and spice. This organic red is full-bodied with medium tannins and well balanced. It pairs best with bold, rich foods.
