Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Santa Marta Amaretto Liqueur
  • 1 oz Widow Jane Applewood Rye
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • .5 oz Spiced simple syrup
  • Dash of Angostura Bitters

Preparation

  1. Make the spiced simple syrup by taking 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water with 2 cinnamon sticks, 10-15 cloves, 2 star anise, a pinch of pink peppercorns. Bring to a boil, allow to cool
  2. Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker
  3. Shake and strain into a coupe glass
  4. Garnish with cinnamon stick and star anise
