Ingredients

  • 2 Parts Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea Bourbon
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 2 tsp Water
  • Pinch of Sea salt
  • Orange peel for garnish

Preparation

  1. Add sugar, bitters, salt, and about 2 teaspoons of water to a rocks glass. Stir until the sugar and salt are mostly dissolved.
  2. Add the bourbon and gently stir to combine. Drop in a single large ice cube
  3. Squeeze the orange peel over the drink to express its oils and drop it into the glass
